Yes — whatever you use. Fresha, Booksy, Treatwell, Square Appointments, Acuity, GoCardless, even bookings you take via Instagram DM. You forward your booking confirmation emails to a unique Rebound address; we read the appointment details and handle the rest. No platform integration needed.
Not if you've set the voice properly. During setup you give Rebound a few examples of how you normally write to a client (an emoji-heavy nail tech voice reads very differently from a careful therapist's). Messages go out in your voice, signed off as you. The only thing they'll notice is that you're suddenly very on-top-of-it.
Rebound sends a gentle nudge a few hours later: "Last chance to confirm or your slot will be released to the waitlist." If they still don't reply, the slot goes onto your "open" list and your waitlist gets the offer. You decide whether to actually release it or hold for the original client; nothing happens irreversibly without you.
On the Pro and Studio tiers, yes. Rebound integrates with Stripe to send deposit links. You set the policy: deposit required for all new clients, or only for clients flagged as repeat cancellers. Deposits are refundable up to 48 hours before and kept if the client no-shows.
SMS works on day one. WhatsApp delivery is available on Pro and Studio once we verify your business with Meta — it takes about two weeks to get the WhatsApp Business API approval. Most of our customers start with SMS and switch to WhatsApp once they're set up.
Yes, with deliberate boundaries. Rebound only ever sees what's on a booking — client first name, phone, appointment time, and service category. It doesn't touch your clinical notes, session content, or anything from your case-management system (Cliniko, Power Diary, Halaxy, BACPAC, etc). The messaging itself uses neutral, professional language by default for therapy clients, with no references to "session topics" or anything that could be inferred as content. We provide a Data Processing Agreement aligned to BACP, UKCP, and HCPC guidance on request, and we don't transfer data outside the UK.
Client details (name, phone, appointment type) are stored encrypted and never shared with anyone. We don't sell data, don't use it for training, and don't retain message contents beyond the active month. For regulated therapists, a Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
Rebound is in private beta, being built carefully around what tattooists, nail techs, counsellors, and therapists actually need (not what's easy to ship).
